San Antonio de Areco, about 110 km from Buenos Aires, is the capital of the gaucho tradition. We drive you through the green plains of the Pampas to this charming town of low houses, cobbled streets and old general stores.

Visit the main square, the Puente Viejo over the Areco river and the workshops of silversmiths and leather craftsmen. If you wish, we can take you to a traditional estancia for a countryside day with asado, horseback riding and folk music (booked separately).
